Walt: Write a quality blog comment.
Task Description: Today for holiday blogging I have made a presentation about how to create a quality blog comment. Since it's the holidays lot's of people will be commenting back and forth. We need to keep our comments to a high standard so this is why I've made a presentation on how to write a quality blog comment. Happy School Holidays/Term 3 Reflection!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hello Viewers! Happy Holidays! Today I am so excited because it's the start of the school holidays. I will still be finishing off work because I have a lot of work from Maths to catch up on so in the holidays you will be seeing a lot of Maths presentations going on. Anyways I thought that Term 3 was AWESOME! We finally got to go on a trip to Star Wars some of us got to make rockets and fly them and lot's more fun things that happen in Term 3. I think that Term 3 was one of my favorite terms. When I found out that our theme was Guardians of the Galaxy I hardly knew ANYTHING about space. I did not even know that there were even 8 planets in the solar system. Once we did a quick quiz about space to see how well some of us know about space. One of the questions were how many planets are in the solar system and I thought that there were 10. When we looked at the results it said 1% voted for 10, and that was a pretty embarrassing moment! Term 3 really helped me learn more about space and other things like the sun! I can't wait to blog this holiday. I am going to be participating in the Team 4 blogging challenge. I hope everyone has a very happy holiday! Goodbye!

Today for Cyber Smart Monday we are learning to beware for ads online. Like this photo below I have shown you not to click these ads. These ads can try to steal your information and trick you into buying cool stuff you like! You can even find dodgy ads on kid sites!

Task Description: Today is Cyber Smart Monday! Today for Cyber Smart Monday we are learning to attribute and image. We had to look up a photo online and we had to set it so the images a free to use. I used an image that was labeled for reuse with modification. That meant that I had used an free image but I will have to change it a little bit. As you can see there is an attribution of the image I got. 

The Mars One Project!

Task Description: Today for Reading we are finishing off work from last week. Our focus was on the Mars One Project. Here is a presentation about the Mars One Project. We had to read three articles about the project to help us with our presentation. I found out lot's of information like about What astronauts will do on Mars and Who will go to Mars! We also decorated the slide so it's not just a boring grey look. I added images that are related to the Mars One Project and attributed it unless I made the image. This is my Mars One Project Presentation.

Mars one Astronaut!

Task Description: Today we were finishing off work from last week. Unfortunately I couldn't finish my work from last week. So here it is. Last week we were learning about the Mars One Project. For this activity we had to create our own astronaut profile. We had to include his Name, Age, Country, Languages, Skills and Reason for joining the Mission. We then downloaded an image to create our Astronaut and drew over it. This is my Astronaut Profile!

Cross Country!

Walt: structure a recount. 

Last week on Friday the whole school participated in our Cross Country running race. The weather was super hot but there were still lot’s of puddles and muddy areas. Have you ever participated in a Cross Country race?

Task Description: Today we had to write a recount about Cross Country! We also had to structure our recount from what happened first to the end. In the story we had to include juicy vocab from Cross Country like the muddy puddles and how exhausting we were after we went passed the finish line. The first thing we had to write was the Introduction, Before the Race, During the Race, After The Race and Conclusion. I then posted this on my blog with a photo from the event and here it is!
